"SYLLABUS 3 - Effective Approaches for Skillful Practice & Teaching of Advanced Asanas" • January Sessions (1/2)

🙏 Thank you for your interest in David Meloni’s Monthly Series.  "SYLLABUS 3 Sessions • Effective Approaches for Skillful Practice & Teaching of Advanced Asanas” • 2-Classes in January.

Looking for a format to address how to effectively teach Advanced Poses?  How to attend to students’ inherent challenges, potentially needing to tend to students’ physical issues and amidst teaching infrequently taught and practiced poses. 

These sessions are formatted to respond to select questions - submitted by you.   Inspired by Guruji, by being rooted in the application of Asana practice,  students will be guided by David Meloni’s clear and concise explanations. In this manner students’ will have the opportunity to experience the answers through practice for deeper more perceptive understanding. 

LEARNING THROUGH OBSERVATION: sharpen your ability to recognize the issues and the root cause of the issues with the more complicated and Advanced Asanas. 

LEARNING THROUGH DECONSTRUCTION: issues will be broken down, step-by-step, to better understand and learn to teach more effectively how to teach, suggest safe modifications or beneficial variations in these Advanced Asanas. 

LEARNING THROUGH ACTION: Further develop an acute understanding, by physically preparing and building up each key facet of the poses.  Experience in your own body how you can better optimize the poses within yourself on a more advanced level.   In this way, to move beyond the physical manifestation of the pose and into the deeper layers as Guruji has shown us vividly in his own practice.  With the aim to equip you to teach more effectively and with more  impact to better guide students into these Advanced Asanas in Syllabus 3. 

CLASS FORMAT:  Asana Class with Q & A*.  In the application of practice students will have the opportunity to experience the answers.
